Quite determined at first glance. Refreshingly relaxed once you get acquainted. MONKEY from the myfrost collection has a clear sense of character and a name that allows itself a little grin. Men’s glasses for those who know what they want – and can still laugh at themselves.

The shape speaks clearly: generous, almost rectangular lenses, a strong horizontal emphasis and precisely defined sides. Angled lower corners give the frame its distinctive outline, while gently rounded transitions keep the contours harmonious. A simple bridge brings the two lens rims together in a composed, cohesive front. Solid in appearance, focused on the essential lines.

The playful detail sits at the sides. Here, a delicate metal bar follows the outer lens edge and holds the lens in position, leaving a narrow opening beside it. Like a tiny clasp – MONKEY’s own little way of holding on. This construction softens the strict geometry and gives the frame an unexpectedly airy character.

The detail also reveals a family resemblance to AMADO. There, the construction meets noticeably rounder contours; MONKEY interprets it with straighter lines and more defined angles. Two distinct personalities with a subtle family connection.

On the face, the horizontal shape emphasises the eyes. The rectangular contours can lend definition to rounder faces and add a distinctive accent to oval features. Generous lenses leave plenty of room for the eyes. For men seeking understated yet expressive metal glasses with thoughtful details.

Despite its determined appearance, MONKEY remains light: the slender stainless steel construction uses little material. Adjustable nose pads allow for an individually tailored fit. Designed by Marion Frost, carefully crafted and assembled by hand by our team in the Ortenau region of southern Germany. Clear design calls for a precise eye.

Five core colours and one distinctive finish: Cosmic Black (01) emphasises the bold silhouette, while Nougat (03) brings warmth and composure. Night Blue (04) feels calm and understated; Indigo (44) adds a stronger blue accent. Chili Red (07) gives the clean shape a lively touch. The Ember Veil (93) finish adds another dimension to the colour selection.
