The principle

It adapts.
It fits you.

Space behind the ear is limited. frost FlexTip rethinks the temple tip: a flexible, individually adjustable shape that relieves the base of the ear and blends seamlessly into the design of your glasses.

01

Adjustable in every direction

Targeted heating allows the temple tip to be aligned in any direction to suit the individual anatomy of the ear.

02

No pressure on the helix root

The sensitive base of the ear stays free. A typical pressure point behind the ear is eliminated.

03

Secure fit – the glasses don’t slip

Thanks to the new fit behind the ear, the glasses stay securely in place.

04

Adjustable in length

Your optician or hearing care professional lengthens or shortens the temple tip by thermal shaping.

frost FlexTip offers these benefits in both versions: with and without hearing aid.

frost FlexTip with hearing aid

Seeing and hearing.
Designed as one.

When glasses and a hearing aid are worn side by side, they share the narrow space behind the ear. FlexTip brings them together: the behind-the-ear hearing aid sits directly in the holder of the temple tip instead of lying next to the temple. The best of both worlds: perfect hearing goes hand in hand with optimal vision.

The holder on the temple tip is adapted to the housing contour of the respective hearing aid. This allows the concept to be implemented for hearing aids from various manufacturers and suppliers.

Elegantly integrated

A well-designed connection between glasses and hearing aid – with no separate additional housing. For the best vision. For the best hearing.

Protection against loss

Hearing aid and glasses are put on and taken off together, so the hearing aid can no longer fall off unnoticed and get lost when you remove your glasses.

Simply clipped in

The hearing aid is pressed into the holder and can be removed just as easily, for example for charging or cleaning. No tools are needed.

Matched to your hearing aid

The holder is matched to the housing contour of the behind-the-ear hearing aid and aligned by your optician or hearing care professional.

Your hearing technology. Our design concept.

What matters is the right housing holder. Your optician or hearing care professional will determine which version suits your specific hearing aid model.

frost FlexTip in motion

The detail makes
the difference.

No juggling, no readjusting, no pressure: this is how frost FlexTip feels.

For everyone who wears glasses and a hearing aid

Finally, peace
behind the ear.

Until now, temple and hearing aid had to share the limited space. With frost FlexTip, the hearing aid has its own fixed place in the temple tip. The base of the ear stays free, and the glasses stay where they belong.

Good to know

Your questions.
Our answers.

What is frost FlexTip?

frost FlexTip is a flexible temple tip by frost eyewear that holds a behind-the-ear hearing aid directly. There are two versions: with hearing aid and without hearing aid. Both are adjustable in every direction, relieve the helix root and ensure a secure fit of the glasses.

What is the difference between the two versions?

The version with hearing aid holds a compatible behind-the-ear hearing aid directly on the temple tip. The version without hearing aid uses the same open, flexible shape without a hearing aid holder. Wearing comfort and fitting are the same for both.

Does FlexTip fit my hearing aid?

The holder is matched to the housing contour of the respective hearing aid. Please tell your optician, hearing care professional or frost the manufacturer and exact model name. This makes it possible to determine whether a suitable version is available or whether an adaptation is required.

Can the hearing aid fall off when I take off my glasses?

If glasses and hearing aid sit separately behind the ear, the hearing aid can easily be pulled off unnoticed when you take off your glasses and get lost. With frost FlexTip, the hearing aid sits in the holder of the temple tip, and both are put on and taken off together.

How do I insert and remove the hearing aid?

Very easily: the hearing aid is pressed into the holder on the temple tip and sits there securely. For charging or cleaning, simply press it out again in one movement. No tools are needed.

How is FlexTip individually fitted?

For both versions, with and without hearing aid, your optician or hearing care professional fits the temple tip individually: by heating the relevant area, it is shaped in length and positioned in any direction. This way, frost FlexTip follows the exact anatomy of your ear. The result: no pressure on the helix root and a secure fit that keeps your glasses from slipping.

Which frames is FlexTip designed for?

frost FlexTip is initially available for the models of the myfrost and froSTYLE collections. In future, frost FlexTip is also intended to be available for frames from other manufacturers. Your optician or hearing care professional can tell you which version suits your frame.

Where can I find out more about FlexTip?

Contact frost eyewear or your optician or hearing care professional. Manufacturers and potential distribution partners can discuss cooperation directly with Paris Frost.
