HABIBI

The word HABIBI is adopted from Arabic languages and is being used to describe very close friends, a sweetheart or darling in nowadays German teenage slang.

The rims are characterized by its oval lenses in a frame defined by three edges. To round it all off, HABIBI is decorated with a wave-like, ribbed embossing. This feature is reminiscent of either harmonious wave formation on water, for example at the traditional well, or of the rippled dunes formed by the wind in the endless sea of sand in deserts all over the world.
